The Blue Hill Public Library is a thriving community center serving the 9 towns of the Blue Hill Peninsula. Approximately 4,500 households comprising 6,700 cardholders take advantage of our facility, collections and services, in addition to all the visitors and community members who use the library without cards. Did you know that last year BHPL had over 129,000 patron visits? BHPL is a busy, vibrant place with something for every age and every background, including local businesses.

Over 80 businesses, nonprofits and community groups use our facilities for over 500 programs and meetings each year. BHPL’s two meeting rooms offer:
- Reservable, private space
- The ability to connect w/others: tele-conferencing, Skype, webinars
- After hours use possible
- Small kitchen next to Howard Room (not available all hours)
