Tammy Vu has lived in Blue Hill with her husband and two children since 2012. Prior to this she worked as a high school teacher and school administrator in the New York City public schools.
She enjoys raising animals, gardening, cooking, and reading. She also serves on the board of the Kollegewidgwok Sailing Education Association in Blue Hill.
The Blue Hill Public Library has played an integral role in creating the physical and virtual space where her family, in all stages of life, can explore ideas and perspectives. Her children have fond memories of Story Time and serendipitous discoveries in the Children’s Room. Her family has appreciated the library’s offerings for the opportunity to learn and to engage with community members. Her daughter works as a shelver at the library.
She serves on the Finance, Buildings and Grounds, and Personnel committees.
